#eldenring #darksouls #gaming The ending of Elden Ring that pertains to Ranni’s questline is aparently grossly mistranslated in the English cutscenes, the Japanese translation of Ranni’s lines completely changes her motives from an evil witch to someone benevolently guiding the Lands Between to a better future. It’s unclear how this translation managed to slip through to the final release, but either way to fully understand Ranni the Witch and her quest, we need to look to the original writing.
