Vietcong 2 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The Vietcong series has enjoyed a multitutde of entries by the same developers of Mafia which unfortunately never lead to huge successes. Though the first game received a cult following, Vietcong 2 was a massive commercial and critical flop. Despite that though I have to say that I have a weakness for this particular game since I love to see this setting in an urban enviroment during the Tet offensive. Sure the graphics are pretty murky, the AI pathfinding can be a bit iffy and the shooting feels floaty, but the unique setting is still very appealing and awesome. My only real problem with the game is its short length. It is only about 2 hours or so for the US campaign and then there is still a VC campaign but that can be completed in less than 1 hour. The first Vietcong was around 6-7 hours and offered way more content and it is a shame to see this title be so barebones. #fps #game #retro
