In this Photoshop texture tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make an agate texture from scratch. Agate is a beautiful texture for backgrounds, textiles, phone cases, screen savers, planner covers, etc. This is a liquid effect similar to liquid marble that has a stunning result when paired with gold inlays. I’ll show you how to work with the graphic interface and a few workarounds if you have problems with the liquify tool black screen. We’ll also add a little interest to the Photoshop texture by adding design elements, noise, shine, and some layer adjustments to make the gold pop even more!
