He is a person so full of stories and knowledge. Alfredo works outside of La Polar Restaurant, every day from 11 am to 6 pm. La Polar is a well-known restaurant in the neighbourhood of San Rafael, open since 1934. Their speciality is ’birria’, a traditional Mexican slow cook meat. The restaurant is so busy on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when families from all over the city come to gather, enjoy the birria and some mariachi live music. Alfredo works with a traditional shoe shine box and uses a chair for his customers to sit on.
