Since the art of #dimash has inspired me to get into video editing, #sos just had to get in my list… Having discovered him pretty early, like almost everyone at that time, my first Dimash experience was through that song. It’s impossible to find the words to express how much the song itself, combined with his interpretation, moves me. It was initially presented in the rock opera ‘Starmania’ (1978) by the French singer-song writer 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲. However, the one who totally brought the song deep into the hearts of the French people was… 𝗚𝗿é𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹, a wonderful artist and a loving young man, who sadly passed away at the age of 24 due a hereditary disease, leaving the whole France totally heartbroken. Grégory, having gone through serious life struggles, had a lot in common with… 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗻, αn incredibly talented Kazakh figure skater, Olympic bronze medalist and one of Dimash’s dearest friends, who also lost his life too early (at the age of 25), after being caught in a fight with 2 robbers. Both Grégory and Denis, despite the fact that their short path in life was far from covered with roses, they have shined as great inspiring figures. Dimash has been performing in numerous occasions since young age. But it was his performance in the Chinese competition ’I am a Singer 2017’ that totally skyrocketed his career overnight and turned to ’the inevitable way of discovering Dimash’ for more than 2 years!
