Lesson 31: Raga Yaman on Flute/Banshi/Bansuri Part-1

Here we present Raga Yaman. Yaman is regarded one of the grandest and most fundamental ragas in Hindustani music. Yaman emerged from the parent musical scale of Kalyan. There are a lot of requests for Raga Yaman. We take some time to start it, because in flute Raga Yaman is not so easy. It takes time and much practice for a flute learner to play Yaman. We discussed different Ragas and dhun in previous lessons. We hope students are ready to start Yaman. So welcome to the most Fundamental Raga of our classical music!
