Mom, can we keep this little stray dog?

The mom opens the door to find her son standing there with a small dog crouching beside him. The boy nervously tells his mom that he brought this stray puppy home from the park. He’s not sure if she’ll agree to keep it. The little dog sticks close to the boy, afraid he might leave it behind.
