Guruji Lives Here - Гуруджи Живет Среди Нас

Yoga Workshop (Ричард Фриман и Мэри Тэйлор) выпустили долгожданное видео GurujiLivesHere в честь столетия Гуруджи, в котором среди многочисленных Школ Аштанги со всего мира приняла участие и Ashtanga Yoga School Moscow! Джун вел съемку наших Майсоров в течение всего марта и из всего отснятого материала он смонтировал четырехминутный ролик, отправленный в Yoga Workshop. В итоге в пятиминутный фильм GurujiLivesHere вошло всего лишь два момента по несколько секунд. Но и это - большой успех и очень приятно, так как участников было около полусотни, а вошли по разным причинам далеко не все. Исходный ролик Джуна мы опубликуем завтра после празднования на Маяке! Не могу не поделиться тем, как Джун “горел“ работой над видео. Количество предварительных версий шло на десятки! Японское качество и перфекционизм! -_- Весь фильм GurujiLivesHere: Jun Matsumoto: Today, the video Guruji Lives Here was released. In March, Dima asked me if I could help him to contribute to this project by taking some videos from morning Mysore classes at our shala. I had never done serious video work, so I wasn’t sure if I could really be of help, but anyway I started to do it. For a few weeks, I was taking videos of the morning Mysore classes (thank you all for your patience), and I realized what is happening on our mats every morning is really beautiful and inspiring. Thus, in the end, I was really motivated to make a nice video, also for my memory of our shala (that time, I was not sure if I will be in Moscow after July). We submitted a video for this project early April. You should notice 2 scenes from our shala in the Guruji Lives Here video. I am happy that we from Moscow contributed to the project. But it is not the end of the story. In July, I continued the work to complete the original video by adding music and making various adjustments.
