Carlos Manuel Puebla was born on the 11th of September, 1917. He was a Cuban singer, guitarist, and composer, who wrote iconic songs that have inspired a whole generation of musicians abroad. Known as “the singer of the revolution“ Carlos has travelled abroad playing his songs in a variety of different places. After a full life of pursuing his passions, Carlos Puebla passed away on the 12th of July, 1989. His powerful lyrical style is remembered fondly still today, and undoubtedly he will go down in Cuban history as one of the best musicians of his time.
