"Miles’ Two Cakes Theory in SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE... #shorts

So, I noticed this really interesting foreshadowing moment in ’Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ when I watched it again. You know that part where the school counselor says “you can’t have your cake and eat it too“? Well, Miles comes back with a genius response: “not unless you have two cakes.“ And here’s the thing, that’s exactly what Miles is trying to do in the movie. He wants to save his dad and the whole universe all at once. He’s going for it all, you know? But then, check this out, at his dad’s party, he actually gets two cakes. It’s like a little nod to that earlier line. But here’s where it gets deep. When Miles tries to juggle both cakes at the same time, he ends up tripping and losing both of them. Could this be a hint that Miles will lose both his universe and his dad by trying to do it all? Man, that’s some dark stuff. If it actually happens, it would be one heck of a bummer ending to this awesome trilogy. #shorts #spidermanacrosst
