Loophole found in Queensland’s COVID check-in app

A loophole in Queensland’s COVID check-in app could allow unvaccinated people to cheat the system. The app has been designed to let people upload someone else’s vaccine certificate like that of a dependant. However, it could be misused to allow unvaccinated people to fraudulently claim they are fully vaccinated. A range of restrictions will remain in place for the unvaccinated from December 17, including a ban on entering hospitality venues.
