How to Grow Chrysanthemums - Hardy Mums and Exhibition Types.

In this video we look at various Chrysanthemum Varieties and how to grow them. These are a plant that flower at the end of summer into winter. One of the top tricks to great Chrysanthemum flowers is to prune them back until late summer so that in Fall/Autumn they are ready to put on impressive blooms. They are stimulated into flowering as the days shorten and the weather cools. Two main types are what we call ’Hardy Mums’ that can easily be grown in the garden, and then the Exhibition types which take extra care.
