Oak Tree Table Top in Grand Beach, Manitoba

This table will be telling stories for many decades to come! Here you will see from the very beginning of this 200 year old oak tree crashing down on the cottage to a beautiful side table. September 6, 2020 was a day where there were a couple hearts that skipped a beat or two... Amazingly enough, it wasn’t a crazy amount of damage to the cottage from what I thought it would be. The table top project was extremely enjoyable to work on. It was a project where you just cranked the tunes and didn’t think of anything else but this. Of course it took two years to dry out so that was a painful wait but some patience and persistence, things come a long ways from where it all started! This property has been in the family since the late 1920’s so like I said, this side table is going to be telling stories for many years from now! Enjoy!
