Finale: Allegro molto - Poco andante - Presto (35:06) Erich Kleiber, conductor The Concertgebouw Orchestra Recorded May 8, 1950 at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam We have posted this great recording before, but considering how finely detailed Kleiber’s performance is, we sought out the highest resolution source available, without filtering, and taken from the original master tape. It turns out that the Decca transfer from 1992, (Still available.), met the requirement we were looking for. Considering the result, the effort was well worthwhile.
