They were once people that were used a test subject by the Los Illuminados cult. The subjects were infected with the Las Plagas parasite, which caused them to mutated into giant monsters. They have a troll - like appearance and are very agile for their size. When enough damage is done to them, the parasite will pop out of their backs, exposing their weakness. However, they become more aggressive. The name, El Gigante means, “Giant“ in Spanish. Played on Hardcore Difficulty.
