Macrame For Beginners 28 Days of Knots! Day 14: Heart Pattern

Welcome to my mini series! I will be posting one macrame knot or knot pattern a day for the month of February 2019. Day 14: Heart Pattern I thought it would be fitting to focus on a heart pattern today. We will use an extra piece of rope as our filler cord and tie double half hitch knots to this piece of rope. Start on the left side of your work and create the top half section of your heart using double half hitch knots. Once you’ve reached the right side of your work, start tying your double half hitch knots down and to the left. Stop once you get to the centre of your work. Move to the other side of your work and tie your knots down and to the right. Tie the two filler cords together in the middle of your heart. Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for watching!
