Military railway men in action! Over the course of the special military operation, the military railway men of the Tsentr Group of Forces restored more that 450 kilometres of railways and 12 small and medium-sized bridges. On their professional holiday, the Day of the Russian Railway Troops, the military railway men continue to repair damaged railways in the strategically important directions to improve logistics of cargo transportation. In conditions of constant risk to their lives, the servicemen perform tasks on: – technical reconnaissance and repairing the assigned railways; – escorting military echelons and transport vehicles; – controlling and holding territories as a part of infantry companies; – carrying out lifting work; – evacuating and redeploying combat vehicles in the special military operation zone; During the tasks, the EOD units use the newest Korshun mine-detectors and UAVs.
