Keenan K.O’s Kelly (1954)

Glasgow, Scotland. GV John Kelly with white band round top of trunks on the receiving end as Peter Keenan hustles him around the right and at Keenan pounds Kelly against the ropes. CU people in crowd. SCU Keenan forcing the pace and Kelly is pleaded to escape from corner. LV Kelly ducks a right cross and Keenan is thrown off balance. Slips on canvas, quickly recovers but narrowly misses a vicious left hand to the chin from Kelly. SCU Keenan lands a hard right to Kelly’s stomach. SV Kelly falls to canvas but is quickly up. CU Keenan steps in and attacks Kelly about the body with both hands and then switches with a head and lands two good lefts. Kelly does his best to fight him off. They both swap blows and Keenan disengages but comes quickly back and slams into Kelly. Kelly lands a good right to the side of the head which shakes Keenan for a moment.
