I savored a hot drink from a vending machine and strolled past traditional wooden buildings, old inns, and ryokans with warm lantern light. The peaceful atmosphere was heightened by the snow-covered hot springs and the muffled sounds of the town. The mountainous landscape was outlined in the distance, surrounded by snow and dancing snowflakes. As I reached the end of my journey, I took one last look at the peaceful winter wonderland before catching the last bus back.
