Oludeniz beach, Blue Lagoon, Turkey. Drone view

Oludeniz is a resort village located on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, 15 km from the city of Fethiye. Oludeniz is home to the Blue Lagoon, a national reserve in Turkey, famous for its extraordinary beach. The place is surrounded on three sides by mountains, the highest of which is Babadag, which means “father-mountain“. The height of the main one - 1672 m - is actively used by tourists for sightseeing excursions and athletes-paragliders for starts. The height of the upper start, at the peak of the mountain, is 1980 m. There is also an intermediate zone. All three starts are designed to take off in different wind directions. The topology of the site allows you to go over the bay at an altitude of 1000-1500 m, which makes Oludeniz one of the most popular places for practicing dangerous paragliding flight modes. Pilots from many European countries as well as from other continents come here. In October, colorful aerial acrobatics competitions are held, which gather a large number of participants and spectators. An extremely attractive place even for beach and outdoor activities.
