Martin van den Berg basstrombone plays Saturdaynight!

Proudly I present this video of my friend and former student Martin van den Berg. Listen to Martin’s super sound on his “Kühnl & Hoyer“ bass-trombone in “Saturday Night Is the Loneliest Night of the Week“ arranged and conducted by Patrick Williams. Martin plays here with his own orchestra, the “Metropole Orchestra Big Band“ from the Netherlands. Beside Martin the other trombone section members are Bart van Lier, Jan Bastiani and Jan Oosting. Little detail is that both Jan Bastiani and Jan Oosting also studied with me. Martin is professor at both the Amsterdam- and Rotterdam “Codarts“ Conservatories.
