Full title reads: “Scotland. “A Prince & Princess greatly beloved’. Duke and Duchess of York receive honorary degree of Doctor of Law & spend busy day in Glasgow.“ Glasgow, Scotland. Parade outside university. Troops in kilts stand on either side. Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI) and the Duchess of York (formerly Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, later Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother) both wear academic garb as they process with senior figures from the University. (Nice C/U of the Duchess as she walks past the camera.) The Duchess gets out of a car and is greeted by various dignitaries. She is visiting a maternity hospital. She is shown a row of babies by a nurse. She plants a ceremonial tree to mark the event of her visit. Lots of nurses look on. The Duchess gets back into her car. Sound Track Missing.
