Israel-Hamas war: Parents don’t know whether daughter is dead or alive after Supernova festival

The family of a girl who is missing after Hamas militants massacred festival-goers say the youngsters were “shot like ducks“. Adi Mayzel, 21, has not been seen since hundreds were killed on Saturday - it is not known whether she was abducted and taken into Gaza or whether she was among the 260 murdered in the attack. Thousands are thought to have been at the Supernova music festival, which was held near the border with Gaza, when Hamas militants struck. Israeli TV channels say Hamas fighters killed around 900 people over the weekend. Gaza’s Health Ministry says 687 Palestinians have far been killed so far in retaliatory strikes by Israel. Israel claims to have killed 1,500 Hamas militants - Hamas official Dr Basem Naim told Sky News yesterday no civilians had been killed by the group.
