“Bike To The Bridge“ Campaign Announcement

BUFFALO, NY/FORT ERIE, ON -- In light of recent changes to non-motor vehicle travel and processing at the Peace Bridge, the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority (Peace Bridge Authority) teamed up with Green Options Buffalo (GO-Buffalo) and other local bicycling enthusiasts on July 22, 2010, to announce the “Bike to the Bridge“ initiative. This educational campaign seeks to educate bicyclists and pedestrians on proper crossing procedures at the Peace Bridge facility, through a combination of improved public outreach and information distribution, as well as continued promotion of current Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) document identification requirements.
