Medieval Bagpipes - The Rostock Bagpipe

Additional information on the Rostock chanter: The instrument was found in the 80s in the remnants of a Medieval garbage pit at the town centre of Rostock, then German Democratic Republic. It was dated to the beginning of the 15th century. Archeologist Heiko Schäfer was able to draw a plan of the instrument, which was discovered almost undamaged.
