A tail of a Tamiya Tiger tank jack

Welcome to my YouTube channel! If you’re following along with my build of the Tamiya Tiger I, I’m thrilled to have you here. Today, I embarked on a new challenge: crafting a 15-ton jack using Aber photoetch aftermarket parts specifically designed for the Africa Tiger I. Let me tell you, it was quite the journey. One of the trickiest parts was ensuring that the jack I crafted seamlessly integrated into the fittings on the back of the Tiger I hull, which I had previously fashioned from photoetch. It took some trial and error, but I’m pleased to say I managed to achieve a satisfactory result in the end. However, here’s where the story takes a twist. After completing the jack, giving it a primer coat, and stepping away briefly, I somehow managed to misplace it! It’s a classic case of the absent-mindedness that comes with age, I suppose. But fear not, I haven’t lost hope just yet. Who knows, maybe it’ll turn up when I least expect it. Ah, the joys of model building
