(4K) RUSSIAN airline ’Red Wings’ Boeing 777-200ER Takeoff: Birmingham (+ Full ATC)

Exactly 3 weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine, I was at Birmingham Airport where I filmed this rare Boeing 777-200ER of the Russian airline Red Wings taking off. 🛫 Of course, I wasn’’t to know this would be the last time filming a Russian registered aircraft in the UK for, well, who knows how long. 💭 My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this terrible war. 🙏 What was the last Russian jet you saw in the UK? This particular flight was a cargo charter, and was departing to Zhukovsky Airport (ZIA/UUBW) as RWZ8828.
