Hatsune Miku - Walk Tall and Die (ていていしんじゃえ) by TadanoCo

“As I embrace everything I hate, I live on.“ “Stand tall (っ´ω`)っ三つ!! Hello, this is TadanoCo. It’s been a while. “I’ve finally managed to output this music that wouldn’t stop ringing in my head for the past year. Note that due to having lost the original audio, the lyrics and sound are different from the careful non-album version.“ Romaji Title: Teitei Shinjae Composed and Illustrated by: TadanoCo ■Mylist: ■twitter: tadanoCo Mix and Mastering: KTKT ▼Mylist: ▼Twitter:ktkt_0808 Off-vocal: Reprinted from Nico Nico Douga: mp3 available from the NND link and here: Classic TadanoCo, from traffic lights and singing for others, to Miku tuning, to obtuse lyrics. (Is it a coincidence the melody is circus music?) Listening to the whole album probably would have clarified story and motifs. Some translation trivia: 2:01 - Literally, “If you keep cutting off your hands and fingers.“ 1:56, 3:09 - There are at least three entities: boku (I), kimi (you), anata (You). 0:59, etc. - I struggled with rendering “tei.“ The hiragana in isolation means at least 15 different things, but my best guess is that it’s TadanoCo’s usual wordplay for half of “teitei“...half-loftiness, half-prominence.
