An angry puppet propels the action in this Frankenstein-esque tale from choreographer and OtB audience favorite Crystal Pite. Pite’s most ambitious work to date features a heightened set, theatrical tricks and 7 freakishly talented dancers hand selected from around the world. Dark Matters has toured widely across Europe, including the prestigious Venice Biennale. Pite’s strong choreographic sense is honed from years performing at Ballet Frankfurt under William Forsythe. Since parting ways with his company, Pite has gone on to found her own company, Kidd Pivot, and become one of the most in-demand choreographers in the world. She is an Associate Choreographer in residence at the prestigious Nederlands Dans Theater and her company is currently in residence in Frankfurt at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm.
