Holding Out For A Hero (from Shrek 2) 【covered by Anna】

Hello everyone! This week I sang Holding Out For A Hero from Shrek 2 (also sung by Bonnie Tyler). The Shrek version just hits a lil’ harder, doesn’t it? This was one of those occasions where I severely overestimated my abilities and forgot that there’s a whole chorus in this song. Who woulda thunk. No biggie, right? Let’s just whip out a full choir and main vocals in a week. Nice. Awesome. Got it. I did not got it. After a good and healthy “I’m overwhelmed” sims session, I asked Palm to worry about the choir parts for me. It’s really wonderful having friends who you can pawn work (and stress) off to. The older I get, the more I appreciate it. It is in the moments like these where I infact realize that I am but a mere mortal who can only do so much in the span of 7 days. I’ve been pretty good about managing my workload and pacing myself for the majority of 2020 but every once in a while, this human flesh suit gets stressed and I am reminded that I cannot do everything by myself as mu
