This is Matt Fox’s steal-o-matic about Film Noir. It shows all the classic elements of film noir, which include crime, victimized protagonists, femme fatales, shadows, seedy locations, evil criminals, and depressing and hopeless endings. It features clips from such classics as The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, Touch of Evil, Se7en, Pulp Fiction, LA Confidential, Chinatown, Blood Simple, Sin City, and more. It also features photographs by Annie Leibovitz, and stills from dozens of films.
