Assessment of Losses Due to the “Valentine’s Day Massacre of 2021” aka Texas Winter Storm 2021 WARNING! This is an unedited raw video showing our first attempt after the weather crisis to determine our losses. During the recent weather event, our heating pumping systems were not adequate to maintain water temperatures, which dropped to 55°F (~12.5°C) for long periods of time. Today was our first opportunity to assess our losses, a process that will continue for several days. I will be writing a long, detailed blog about everything that went wrong from our State government mismanagement of our electrical grid to mistakes we made.
