Orchids (1956)

St Albans, Hertfordshire. Various shots of orchids in a greenhouse. Leading orchid authority David Sander takes samples from some of the blooms for cross-pollination, puts a label on one of the orchid plants and makes some notes. Several shots of a woman going through the hybridisation process, putting seeds into tubes and onto some jelly substance over a bowl of steaming water. Another woman takes some young seedlings out of a jar and plants them in a small pot of soil. An old man shows a younger man some young orchid plants in a greenhouse.
