How to make miniature bricks with DAS clay - The DOMUS Project

The Domus project is the construction in scale 1:50 of an imaginary medieval palace. It’s made of clay, stones, slate, wood and other construction materials in the style of rich genoese buildings from the middle of XIV century. This is the way I made my first bricks for the construction of the Domus. All you need is a wooden board with two runners with the same thickness as your bricks, a rolling pin, sandpaper, a square, a spatula... and DAS clay, of course! The DAS clay dries simply with air, but you can use real clay following the same steps above and then baking your bricks. Have fun!
