Simple Strip HST block quilt using 2 1/2 inch STRIPS! 8th in our series to use leftover strips!

Eighth project in a series using 2 1/2 inch strips to make scrappy quilts! This pattern was designed for a jelly roll but leftover 2 1/2 inch strips will work just as easily! This pattern does call for some additional fabric for the background. It can be just one fabric or a variety of fabrics that are the same color. Look for a tone on tone or small volume print to let the strips be the star of the quilt. I needed 1 1/3 yard for the baby quilt you will see in the video. The pattern calls for 2 1/4 yard of white fabric (along with the jelly roll) to make a 66 1/2 inch by 66 1/2 inch quilt top. This pattern is easy to enlarge or make smaller!
