Tribute to Frame Drummer Layne Redmond ~ Heartbeat of the Mother Women and Percussion ©1998 This is an early creative project of mine, to define early, I’m referring to the early stages of developing my vision and my creative voice as an artist. This is also my first effort at film making from conception to completion and I’m delighted that I can share it here with the public for educational purposes. This film is dedicated to the memory and legacy of Layne Redmond (1952-2013) Composer, Drummer, Author, Filmmaker, Educator. May her strong and growing legacy continue to pollinate and flourish. This short video project was inspired by my mission to connect more deeply with my Divine Feminine and my curiosity about the tradition of the priestesses of percussion.
