Harris and Walz start battleground blitz, while Vance targets Walz’s military record

Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz began a blitz in battleground states, riding a wave of Democratic unity and a windfall in donations. Former President Trump said Walz is too far left to win, while JD Vance attacked Walz’s claim he carried weapons “in war.“ Walz never served in combat while he was in the National Guard.
