Korean star CL remembers Virgil Abloh

(29 Nov 2021) KOREAN STAR CL REMEMBERS VIRGIL ABLOH K-pop star CL (Lee Chae-rin) has added her tribute to Virgil Abloh, following the announcement Sunday of his death, at 41. The performer said Monday (29 NOVEMBER 2021) she had met the groundbreaking designer when he first introduced his iconic streetwear brand Off White to the Korean market and that his work has made a lasting impact in the fashion world. “He was there DJ-ing and we had fun and you know, after that many, many more times that we became friends then,“ she recalled. “He did so much for the culture. And, you know, just it’s actually the same message like I’m pursuing where like I want people like younger generation to feel like you could do it too. And he’s a legend, and he definitely represented that and paved so many ways and opened so many doors for his culture.
