Matt talks about changing from the little kid who made Overwhelming to a 16 year old juggling school and being a rockstar. Matt’s most recent songs include Pumped Up, Distorted, Pick a Strain with Ka$hdami & Tyfontaine, etc. He also talks about making $$$ with XXTentacion, while idolizing people like Lil Uzi Vert (also from philly), and Playboi Carti. He said he realized that fans shouldn’t idolize rappers online, and the only person that stayed true to his word was XXXTentacion. We spoke about how blowing up at 12 years old might have had a negative impact on his childhood and being able to make real friends. Matt also explains why he switched up his entire style and started making more aggressive sounding music with a punk vibe. He gives his thoughts on Playboi Carti’s attempt at a punk album, Whole Lotta Red, saying King Vamp is his favourite song.
