Streets Frozen and Buildings Collapsed in Mongolia! Snowstorm with Strong Winds Hit Mongolia

Heavy snowfall and blizzards hit Mongolia starting from February 16. On February 19, the temperature sharply dropped to minus 50.8 degrees Fahrenheit. This winter, nearly all provinces of Mongolia have faced severe weather conditions. According to the Institute of Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring of Mongolia, over 80% of the country’s territory is covered with snow. In some areas, the snow depth has exceeded feet.
