First hurricane of the season hits Texas with heavy rains, winds and storm surge | Hurricane Hanna

Hurricane Hanna is roaring ashore onto the Texas Gulf Coast bringing strong winds, heavy rain and storm surge. It is the first hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season. The first landfall happened at around 5 pm about 15 miles north of Port Mansfield, which is about 130 miles south of Corpus Christi. The second landfall took place nearby in eastern Kenedy County.
