Living With Purpose: Life Lessons of Finding Happiness

For us, happiness isn’t a state of being -- you can have moments of joy; like making something with your hands, growing and eating your own food, or skipping down the hill and jumping in the water. Aside from this, happiness means fulfilment; having purpose, and being needed. Join us as we share what we’ve been up to this past week -- all of the hard work, the shifting seasons and the special moments! We live and farm on the land of the Arakwal and Minjungbal people of the Bundjalung Nation and these practices of regenerative living, agriculture and permaculture owe their roots and theories to Indigenous knowledge — they have been practiced by Indigenous People around the world for so many years. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country we live on, and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters. We thank them for protecting this rainforest and its ecosystems since time immemorial.
