Kim Yo Jong: UN is Tool of Confrontation completely sided with US and West

My backup channel on Odysee @PhuongDPRKDaily:e Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea To thoroughly contain and frustrate the most hostile and threatening policy of the United States for nuclear confrontation with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is the right of legitimate self-defence for defending the Korean peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region from the calamity of nuclear war and there is no justification for anybody to slander our new-type intercontinental ballistic missile launch. The recent launch was conducted in the safest way in strict consideration of a latent danger which may befall to the security of our neighbouring states. It did not do any harm to the international maritime and air security. Ignoring the just concern about the security of our state and the US criminal attempt of increasing the possibility of an actual nuclear war in the Korean peninsula and the region, however, the UN Security Council held another open session of unilaterally slandering only our exercise of the right of self-defence, fully proving that it is a tool of confrontation destroying the global peace and stability and a tool of new cold war which completely sided with the United States and the West. The UN Security Council made an issue of our exercise of the right of self-defence which did not do harm to anybody again under such unchanged and boring illegal justification as the breach of the UN “resolution“. I express my strong displeasure at its unfair and biased behaviour and strongly denounce it. Due to the US provocation of aggressive nature far beyond the permanent military preparedness, the situation of the Korean peninsula is now going to the critical point of nuclear clash without hitch and the outbreak of a nuclear war is cropping up not as a hypothesis but as a gruesome reality the countries in northeast Asia have to accept before long. The United States has conducted joint military exercises with clear aggressive character at any time by mobilizing all sorts of nuclear strategic assets including nuclear submarines and nuclear strategic bombers under the pretext of offering so-called “extended deterrence“. It has also operated the US-South Korea “Group for Nuclear Consultation“, a mechanism for nuclear war, and tried to ship a nuclear submarine loaded with strategic nukes into the Korean peninsula for the first time in over 40 years. Such military provocations of the United States are the most direct threat to the security of all the countries in northeast Asia as well as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The UN Security Council whose mission is to defend the global peace and security had to look squarely at such fact first and would have correctly seen who threatens with nukes and who is threatened by nukes. Shunning to its duty, the UN Security Council connived at the moves of the United States attempting to exterminate our state and worse still, it showed its extremely unfair and double-standard behaviour of instigating them. It is an irresponsible criminal act of plunging the whole of northeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region into the crushing calamity of nuclear war. Since the UN Security Council deliberately ignores the dangerous nuclear threat and blackmail of the United States, US nuclear weapons including strategic nuclear submarine will make frequent appearances in the Korean peninsula more, more often and more openly under the pretext of “legality“ in the future and northeast Asia will be reduced to the world’s largest nuclear arsenal before long. Now I make clear that in case a nuclear war unprecedented in history, which nobody wants, breaks out in the Korean peninsula, the responsibility for it will go to the UN Security Council which had tried to recklessly bind the exercise of the right of self-defence of our state, siding with the United States. Availing myself of this opportunity, I warn the ragtag accustomed to blindly obeying their US master that they joined in making public a “joint statement“ against the DPRK which is not recognized outside the UN Security Council. The United States must know that the further it displeases us, the more stiff it will be. When the United States withdraws its hostile policy toward the DPRK, both the displeasure we feel and the vicious cycle of situation nobody wants will be gone. But if the United States keeps on resorting to its option of reckless and provocative confrontation, the situation will go in the direction which is very dull to the United States, which will feel it every minute and second, every moment and day after day. The price the United States has to pay for having offended us will never be light and I don’t conceal that very ill-boding things will wait for the United States. ...
