IS THE NEXT HISTORICAL TOTAL WAR MEDIEVAL 3?

So in the last few days a piece of speculative news has been circling around the Total War community with Reddit posts and hype videos and it’s all about a YouTube community post by martial artist Bjorn Ruther in which he expresses his enjoyment of working with Creative Assembly on a new unannounced project. The main point of this being Bjorn is a martial artist with a big passion for Medieval combat. I don’t know whether this confirms there’s a Medieval Total War on the way and I won’t do too much speculation in this video. What I really want to here is talk about everything we know so far, all the evidence pointing towards a potential Medieval on top of this latest news why we need to be critical of the next title & manage our expectations around whatever CA are working on. All in all I see this news as a restart of that conversation, people can get hyped but these are the real topics we need to be discussing, what sort of game are we expecting from CA? To send a message to them that the bar is set high, and anything less than that will be a massive fail. More than whether this is a new Medieval or an Empire or Rome, what CA need to deliver is a GOOD TOTAL WAR GAME.
