The man just carries the show so damn hard for me. Every scene Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in is golden. And that scene where Daryl had to kneel again for Negan was just perfect, definitely top 3 moments of season 10 for me. It looks like Daryl has finally accepted Negan and they can move forward with business. I’m very curious to see how Negan will live in Alexandria and help the survivors with the war, which should be coming now that Negan killed Alpha by beheading her. I think the song is so perfect for Negan, especially if think about the saviors as his friends and heathens. It’s so perfect. And his entire redemption arc leads to the point where he is finally one of the survivors, as the last line of the song says.
