Tony Lloyd: Keir Starmer pays tribute to Rochdale MP who died age 73

Keir Starmer has paid tribute to Tony Lloyd, the MP for Rochdale who died aged 73 of cancer on Wednesday 17 January. Mr Lloyd was a Labour MP for 36 years, making him one of the longest-serving MPs in recent history. The Labour leader praised Mr Lloyd’s kindness and thanked MPs for their support toward the party and his family.
