Colleague(s) (noun) – Someone who you work with.
Frustrated (adjective) - Feeling annoyed that you cannot do something.

Fancy – Can mean many different things depending on the content. You can fancy a person (if you find them attractive) however, in this story, fancy means something which is special or important. Kate’s new job is fancy because it is working for a big company in a “fancy” building.

Thump (noun) – A loud noise.
Silly (adjective) – A feeling you have if you are embarrassed.
