Cities of Uzbekistan - Khiva

Khiva is the oldest city in the world. The final form of the city was formed in the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. The old part of Ichan-Kala is an open-air museum, protected by UNESCO. In a fairly small area of Ichan-Kala, there are two palaces, more than 60 madrassas and mosques, mausoleums, a cathedral mosque, a market, caravanserais and baths, residential buildings.
