EL AMIR & Radio Tarifa - Ozu - BBC Union Chapel London

EL AMIR was the flamenco guitarist and oud soloist as well as the multi instrumentalist for the legendary and famous Spanish world music band RADIO TARIFA. He toured the world several times with the band for almost ten years in a row. The unique fusion of Iberian folklore, flamenco, rock, crossover, North African and Middle Eastern music made the band become one of the main references and inventors of the “world music“ genre. Radio Tarifa achieved a Latin Grammy Nomination in 2004 for their outstanding and vibrant live album “Fiebre“ on which Amir John Haddad - El Amir also appears. In 2008 the band was invited to perform a short TV concert in London at the Union Chapel for a very special BBC Broadcast.
