Elvis Presley - Treat Me Nice - Movie version in HD and re-edited with RCA/Sony audio

The closest that most of us ever got to having an idea of what it was to see a young Elvis in the recording studio as he laid down some of those classic ’50’s tracks was in MGM’s 1957 movie “Jailhouse Rock“ which gave us a glimpse of what it may have been like as Elvis’ character Vince Everett is seen in the same recording studio on two separate occasions. Whilst the first of these sees a Vince short of self confidence and recording a demo record in “Don’t Leave Me Now“ the second sees him cut a record intended for sale in the wonderful “Treat Me Nice“ and now sees Vince in complete control of the situation. Elvis recorded two versions of “Treat Me Nice“ for the movie because after a mammoth nineteen takes on 30 April 1957 were recorded and the final take chosen as the master it was found unsuitable for insertion into the movie and so Elvis returned to Studio 1 of Radio Recorders in Hollywood in a second attempt to record a suitable version of
